Greg Matsuo, owner and operator of Island RV Service and Solar Ltd. (Island RV) is a Red Seal Endorsed (RSE), fully qualified journeyman RV Technician with over 7 years of experience in the trade; with locally recognized qualifications and a RV Service Technician Gas license from the Province of PEI.

Greg graduated from the RV Service Technician program at Okanagan College in Kelowna, BC and worked in several large service centres in BC before moving to Prince Edward Island with his wife. Two years of experience with the local RV market was achieved by working at a well known and respected RV Sales and Service Centre in Charlottetown. During this time Greg gained an appreciation for the local RV service and repair market and saw a distinct need for a technically focused mobile RV repair service to meet the unique needs of seasonal local campers and visitors to PEI.

Greg is detail oriented by nature with extensive knowledge and experience with the installation, repair, and servicing of: RV electrical systems (12VDC and 120VAC); solar and lithium based power systems for on and off-grid camping; Schwintek, through-frame (electric/hydraulic), and cable operated slide systems; manual and electric/hydraulic leveling systems; plumbing and water systems; propane appliances and related systems; interior finishing; exterior sealant and roofing systems; hung stick-and-tin and Filon laminated foam core walls; electric brakes, wheel bearings, and suspension components; completing pre-purchase and pre-delivery inspections; and preparing detailed estimates for all work completed.
