MOBILE RV SERVICE CALL AND LABOUR RATES
We Come to You!
Hourly Work Rate: All work is completed at an hourly rate of $85 with a 1 hour minimum and in 15 minute increments thereafter.

This means that if the work is completed in less than 1hr the remainder of the time can be used to address other repairs (not part of the original booking) or to ask question and tap into our extensive knowledge about RV systems.

Service Area: We serve all points in the Province of Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada.
​
At this time we only serve locations on PEI.
​
Service Call Fee: We charge a non-refundable $85 service call fee to book the appointment. This fee gets your work onto the schedule, covers upfront time to setup the job (research, order parts,...), includes travel (up to 20km) to reach the work site, and the remaining time onsite to complete basic troubleshooting and diagnostics for the issue(s). A complete diagnosis of an issue may take longer than the time covered in the service fee and will be charged at the current hourly labour rate. We will advise you of this before you incur the charge.

A service call does not guarantee a repair or that your problem will be resolved.

Trip Fee: This is a one-way-trip fee for work sites requiring greater than 20km of travel and is billed at $85/hr (or portion thereof in 15 minute increments).
Travel distances are determined using Google Maps and a starting point of: Deckers Dairy Bar & Grill Cornwall (655 Main St, Cornwall, PE C0A 1H0).

A trip fee will be charged for all jobs whether we are already in the area on another call or starting the trip from Cornwall.

Appointment Windows: Our goal is to provide prompt efficient service. To achieve this goal we book appointments as 2-4 hour windows of time that we will arrive onsite depending on work loads. This means that we typically book multiple service appointments per day and have to make some assumptions about how long each appointment will take to complete. Some appointments will run long and some will run short. Appointment windows accommodate this variability with the intent of keeping the work flowing smoothly.

Cancellations: Customer requested cancellations OR moving an appointment to another date must be received via email or phone at least one full working day in advance of the change.

Keeping a Schedule: We value your time as much as our own. Sticking to a schedule is key to ensuring that we provide timely service to you while balancing our ability to travel between jobs.
Unforeseen issues may arise that cause us to run behind schedule. In these events we will contact you as soon as we're aware of a pending delay.
